According to the Moscow office of the Tourism Administration of Thailand (TAT), the country recorded 1,481,878 arrivals of Russians at that time. In 2019, there were 1.47 million of them.And just a few days ago, the Thai government agreed on visa-free entry for citizens of Kazakhstan. It will operate “on an ongoing basis,” foreign media wrote, citing the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kingdom, the Thai government plans to introduce new types of visas in 2024, according to local newspaper The Thaiger. It is noted that these will be visas for digital nomads, astro- and eco-tourists.The authorities expect that visas for eco-tourists will help attract travelers focused on sustainable tourism and nature conservation to the country.
