Abkhazia has become one of the most sought-after destinations for the New Year holidays in 2024. A mild winter, a varied excursion program and affordable prices for accommodation and other services have become an occasion for many tourists to spend their winter holidays in this region.
According to the Intourist tour operator, sales volumes in Abkhazia for the New Year were 3.5 times higher than last year. Now tourists are already booking arrivals for long holidays in February and March 2024.
The high dynamics of demand for winter arrivals in Abkhazia was reported in the press service of the national tour operator ALEAN: the number of bookings is 2.5 times higher than it was in December last year. First of all, year-round hotels with heated pools and full board meals are in demand.

Together with tour operators “Dolphin”, “Multitour”, “Russian Express”, ALEAN, FUN&SUN and “Intourist” have compiled a selection of high-quality hotels in Abkhazia, the infrastructure of which has heated pools and SPA complexes.
- Amra Park Hotel & SPA (Gagra). It underwent a complete renovation in 2018. The territory has its own arboretum park, a well-equipped promenade, a SPA center, an indoor freshwater pool and other services. A medical center has also been opened, which includes diagnostic, physiotherapy and balneological departments.
- Grace Aqua Villa SPA Hotel (Sukhum). It opened in 2023. It is located in a secluded place on the very shore of the sea. It offers comfortable rooms, a heated swimming pool and a SPA center. There is an option to choose the type of food (“Breakfast”, “all inclusive” and “ultra all inclusive”).
