Inspired by the desire of Muscovites to immerse themselves in the captivating Christmas world of The Nutcracker, dozens of different options have been selected, where, in addition to the Bolshoi Theater, tourists and residents of large cities can get acquainted with the immortal creation in a variety of interpretations. And we found out how much it costs.
“THE NUTCRACKER” IN MOSCOW
In addition to the Bolshoi Theater “The Nutcracker” in a variety of guises, you can see at least 60 versions before the New Year and on vacation. There are indeed so many productions of this work that we decided to tell you about the ballets that can be seen on the “peak” date – December 31.
At the theater named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko, two performances: at 12:00 and at 18:00. Ticket sales are not open yet – so far you can only buy tickets for a month in advance, so it makes sense to “catch” the Nutcracker on November 30.
In RAMT, three performances: at 11:00, 15:00 and 19:00, tickets – from 3.5 thousand rubles, for the evening – from 12.5 thousand rubles. There are very few places left.
In the concert hall “Mosconcert Hall”, two performances: 12:00 and 18:00, tickets from 1 thousand rubles and at the moment about 80% of the seats in the hall are free.
In the concert hall of the DK MAI, starting at 17:00, tickets from 800 rubles, almost everything is available.
On the Children’s Stage of the Satire Theater “The Nutcracker” will be presented to the younger generation. Two performances are planned: at 12:00 and 16:00. Tickets – from 800 rubles, but there are very few left.
In addition, in the Provincial Theater, there will be two performances based on “The Nutcracker”: at 12:00 and at 15:00, tickets from 1 thousand rubles, but there are few seats left in the hall. Also, it is the performance that will be in The new Drama Theater. It starts at 12:00, 14:00 or 17:00, tickets from 1 thousand rubles, about 20% of the seats are sold out.
If none of the proposed options is suitable, then the popular event booking site offers tourists and residents of the capital at least 100 more performances of a wide variety of genres, which will be given in Moscow on December 31.
Comedies and tragedies, ballets and operas, classics and innovations for children and adults are abundantly presented in various places of the capital at very standard prices. There are mostly a lot of tickets.

“THE NUTCRACKER” IN ST. PETERSBURG
On New Year’s Eve, the cultural capital will host more than a dozen “Nutcrackers” for every taste and color – from classical ballet to children’s puppet shows.

The Nutcracker in the Hermitage Theatre, for example, also looks extremely attractive. In the Great Hall of the Kamennoostrovsky Theater, which can also be considered a separate attraction, hiding in the silence of the mysterious Elagin Island, on December 31, two Nutcracker ballets will be given at once: at 14:00 and at 18:00. Tickets for 4 and 5 thousand rubles are still available so far. However, knowing the peculiarities of this particular monastery of Melpomene, surprises should be expected. Perhaps audacious enough.
The classic “The Nutcracker” staged by the Russian Ballet Theater will also be held in the concert hall of the St. Petersburg at 18:00. Anna Pavlova. Tickets range from 2.5 to 4.5 thousand rubles and they are available.
On December 30 “The Nutcracker” will be at the Mikhailovsky Theater. Tickets are few and expensive – from 7.5 to 25 thousand rubles. It starts at 18:00
The entire ballet world of the Northern Capital will be immersed in The Nutcracker on the festive day – they do not give other ballets. There will be more than 60 other theatrical productions on December 31.
“THE NUTCRACKER” IN OTHER CITIES OF RUSSIA
They will give “The Nutcracker” on December 31 at the NOVAT Theater in Novosibirsk. At 13:00 and 18:00, the ticket price starts from 2.5 thousand rubles, 60% of the seats in the hall are free.
By the way, a note to the theatergoer. There are several productions in NOVAT, tickets for which are many times more expensive in the capitals. You can take this feature on your pencil.
There will be a ballet “The Nutcracker” and in Perm, in the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theater. There will be two performances: at 12:00 and at 18:00. But the prices, it should be noted, “bite” no less than the capital ones – tickets cost from 8 thousand rubles and there are very few of them left.
In fairness, it should be noted that last year the range of “Nutcrackers” was even more diverse and the geography of distribution of ballets was wider. Either the leading theaters of the country decided to present other productions for this New Year, or tickets for the popular Christmas ballet were sold out not only in the capital.
